The recommended RPM is to a degree dependent on the type of equipment and the stability of the setup when cutting. Using Plunging Router The maximum speed for using this set is 10,000 RPM. It is important to work very slowly and steadily. We recommend securing the router with clamps so the machine is fixed firmly in place. When working on a drill press we recommend speed of 2,000 to 3,000 RPM. Here it is important that the work is firmly clamped to ensure stability.
